Teen shoots and kills 2 armed intruders preventing home invasion

In a harrowing incident in Harris County, a teenager bravely defended his home, shooting two men who attempted to force their way inside. The event took place in the 16000 block of First Street on a Friday evening.

The two intruders, armed and donning masks, tried to break into the residence. Inside the home at the time were an adult, a 12-year-old boy, and two 17-year-old boys. Reacting swiftly to the threat, one of the teenagers grabbed a shotgun and fired multiple shots, hitting both suspects. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez confirmed the details of the confrontation.

Tragically, both intruders were declared dead at the scene. Adding to the complexity of the situation, there was a report of a third individual who managed to escape in a dark-colored 4-door sedan. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported from the incident.

Sheriff Gonzalez mentioned that the case would be presented to a grand jury. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing, and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Homicide Unit is actively seeking any information related to the case.
